Prosciutto, Walnut & Blue Cheese Crostata

Home late from the doc, need to get some work done, need dinner and a coupla cocktails after a usual Monday...
Need I say more?

Prosciutto, Walnut & Blue Cheese Crostata
  1. Slice & toast the baguette, pugliese, ciabatta or whatever good bread you might have around
  2. Top with blue cheese crumbles, I used Point Reyes cuz that's what I have right now
  3. Top with folded thin sliced prosciutto
  4. Top with chopped walnuts
  5. Put in a 300F oven for 5 minutes
  6. Broil for 1 minute
Serve with the cocktail of your choice; tonight it was vodka tonic for me

Hasta

  2. @alice: Nooooo! Why would you want to eat a Hot Pocket?? I would eat bleu cheese way before I'd eat another Hot Pocket...

  3. @Rachael - What do you mean you would eat blue cheese "before" a hot pocket? Does this mean blue cheese is not on your picky eater's roster of acceptable foodstuffs?

@Alice - Just a bot o' what was in the fridge on a Monday night but it came together nicely :)
